On May 31, 2015, Heritage Manor continued its Golden Anniversary celebration with a community event that took place at the Jewish Community Center. A slideshow and video were shown to 240 members of our community, along with staff, who celebrated this joyous occasion with us. The celebration was dedicated to the beautiful residents who have made Heritage Manor their home, to the staff who has cared for them, to the families who have supported their loved ones, to the volunteers who have graciously given their time, and to the Board of Directors who has guided us through the years.
Gary Weiss, Executive Director of Heritage Manor, and his daughter, Sarah Weiss, Executive Director at The Center for Holocaust and Humanity Education in Cincinnati, were speakers at this year's TED Talks at the AJAS Conference in Memphis, Tennessee. Each told their story of a piece of jewelry, their Grandmothers, and the influence these two things had on them when choosing their current career fields.
Heritage Manor has once again been rated as a 5-star skilled nursing facility by the Centers for Medicare/Medicaid.
Heritage Manor is a Veteran's Administration approved facility and we are proud to be one of the very few approved providers for inpatient and daycare services in Mahoning and Trumbull counties.

The Board of Directors of Heritage Manor is pleased to announce that the late Mildred Engel left funds to help educate people wishing to obtain licensure as a registered nurse. This fund was established in 1992 to provide financial assistance to an individual(s) needing a scholarship to secure an associate or baccalaureate degree in nursing. The scholarship award may cover all fees and book costs up to $5,500.00 annually. There is a requirement for the recipient to work at Heritage Manor for a minimum period of one (1) year following graduation from nursing school.
