We are excited to officially announce a new partnership beginning at the 2014 JCC Maccabi Games. Team Youngstown will be joining forces with Team Akron to create the Youngstown-Akron Delegation. The merging of delegations will hopefully be the beginning of a dynamic relationship that would prove to offer many new experiences for Jewish teenagers in the Youngstown Area.

FEDERATION SUPPORTS RELIEF EFFORTS IN COLORADO

The Youngstown Area Jewish Federation, and the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) are mobilizing to help the victims of unprecedented flooding across Colorado, which has swept through 15 counties, killing 5 and displacing thousands of people – and the Jewish community has not escaped the disaster.  The Youngstown Area Jewish Federation Board of Directors on September 23 approved allocating $2,500 to the flood relief efforts. <<READ MORE>>
