Jewish Family Services
Jewish Family Services was created in 1935 by the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation to meet the social service needs of the Jewish community. Jewish Family Services traces its earlier history to meetings of community leaders who met to respond to people in financial crisis.
Jewish Family Services affirms its commitment to caring for all people. It does so with an understanding of Jewish values and an awareness of the uniqueness of individuals and their situation. Every person is treated with respect, confidentiality, and careful attention.
Each year, hundreds of people benefit from our diverse programs and services.
