Our Philosophy

The Child Development Center believes and promotes the Judaic values of teaching right behavior. These include self care, the care of others, care of the planet, and care of our historical stories and struggles as a human nation. We strive to create and maintain a standard of excellence in social development, cultural diversity, and education. The Child Development Center strives for an environment that is respectful of, and guided by, a shared vision of all who are a part of the program while supporting the greater mission of the Jewish Community Center.

Our qualified, nurturing teachers provide a climate of positive interaction with stimulating conversations, age appropriate activities and projects, and encouraging guidance. Children will be empowered with the skills that foster independence and self control.
Our play-based Creative Curriculum® fosters positive childhood experiences and encourages development in the areas of social, emotional, cognitive, language and physical development. We have a strong emphasis on physical fitness at our facility with onsite gymnasium, heated indoor pool, Noah’s Park outdoor playground, and indoor Romper Room.
A strong focus is placed upon security, including monitoring of entrances with cameras strategically placed throughout all indoor and outdoor areas of our facility.
