Disney Characters for internal process (expressive art therapy workshop)

Do you love Winnie the Pooh's obsession with honey because you also love something to that extreme? What about the funny and co-dependent relationship between Timon and Pumbaa?

In this workshop we will brainstorm how we can relate to different Disney characters and establish a list with descriptions of how these characters can represent our personalities, traumas, choices, relationships, and/or inner dialogues.

This workshop is based on Alexis Rae Burrow, MA, LPCC-S, CEAT, research.

Participants will create a creative representation of their own internal struggles, inspiration to utilize new coping skills, as well as the ability to use fictional characters as a therapeutic intervention.

The sessions would be led by Shay Kahani- Erez, Licensed social worker and a trauma therapist (EMDR).
