Youngstown Native Louis Schmidt Will Share Experiences Interviewing Holocaust Survivors
Youngstown native Louis Schmidt will speak about his intensive training and meaningful experiences as an interviewer of Holocaust Survivors for the Shoah Visual History Foundation. This event is free and open to everyone.

Community Holocaust Commemoration
Included will be a candle lighting processional commemorating the martyrs of the Holocaust and recognition of the winners of the student Holocaust writing/multimedia contest. This event is free and open to everyone.
Date: Tuesday, April 21 | Time: 12:00 p.m.
Location: Mahoning County Courthouse

Shoah Memorial Ceremony
Yom Hashoah is an internationally recognized day set aside for remembering all victims of the Holocaust. This event is free and open to everyone.
Date: Sunday, April 26 | Time: 4:00 p.m.
Location: Jewish Community Center
