This year has brought some changes to the Jewish Journal Monthly Magazine. When the Vindicator closed its doors, we lost our printer. While the Vindicator closing was a great loss for us and the community, it paved the way for a partnership with West Penn Publishing in New Castle. They’ve printed two editions of the Journal now, and they look great! We also added a part-time writer to our staff, Jamie Durisko. Jamie is writing feature and news stories, allowing us to have even more local content.
We look forward to even more positive changes at the Journal. Your support allows us to enrich individuals and the community through articles, features, and other information of local and national Jewish interest; and demonstrate a commitment to the progress and continuity of Jewish life in the U.S., especially our local area, and in Israel and around the world.
The JJJMM, a publication of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation, is sent monthly by mail to all members of the Jewish community in the Mahoning and Shenango Valleys free of charge. It’s also available in every branch of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County and the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library. It’s sent by email to over 5,100 individuals.
Please consider a donation at this time. No donation is too small, whether it be $18, $36, $100, $200 or $500. A subscription form is included. Checks may be sent to the JJMM, 505 Gypsy Lane, Youngstown, Ohio, 44504.
