We have just witnessed the Michigan primaries in which the leftist, self-proclaimed antizionist, democratic socialist candidate squeaked out a victory over the “centrist” Democrat candidate. We have just seen the House vote to cut off aid to Israel, which more than 100 Democrats supported.

One of the gifts of Jewish prayer is that it welcomes our questions alongside our faith. The High Holy Days, especially, invite us into conversation — with God, tradition, and ourselves.

As we approach the upcoming midterm elections, many people see them as a time of accountability. Whether or not you follow politics, the idea that growth begins with honest self-reflection is one we can all appreciate.

We return to the Jewish Question: what will become of the Jews? Man is not born, nor does he live, in isolation.
