JFS Receives $17K for Senior Outreach Program

Jewish Family Services was awarded $17,000 from the Mahoning County Mental Health & Recovery Board for its Senior Outreach program.

The Senior Outreach program includes regular and friendly phone calls, Aging Well programs at the Jewish Community Center, assistance with issues such as Medicaid applications, and other referral needs from a licensed social worker.

It is free to those over age 60 living in Mahoning County. This is the second year JFS partnered with the Mental Health & Recovery Board in Mahoning County. For more information about the JFS Senior Outreach program, or other JFS programs, call 330.746.7929.
