*Chevra Kadisha services (a Tahara) are required at Ohev Tzedek, Children of Israel, and both El Emeth cemeteries. Chevra Kadisha services are optional at the other cemeteries and for cremations.
**Chevra Kadisha would only be required if the family requests the Tahara procedure prior to cremation.
***If security is not needed, the $200 security fee will be waived.
****Perpetual care does not include the repair, replacement, or additional foundation work required if the stone or its base stone moves or sinks due to improper installation by the stone supplier selected and paid for by the family. It is the family's responsibility to maintain the stone if future work is needed to correct an improper installation. If no family is available, the YAJCA will assume responsibility of memorial stone maintenance.
