Temple Emanu-EL Cemetery

Temple Emanu-EL - "God is With Us" - was founded in 1904. The congregation first met at the Ozerksky Bakery at 349 E. Federal Street before building their first synagogue at 117 E. Rayen Avenue in Youngstown. Today, it’s the St. Andrews A.M.E. Church. They moved from the Rayen Avenue building in 1951, when they dedicated the synagogue at Fifth Avenue and Fairgreen. They congregation merged with Anshe Emeth in 1973, becoming Temple El Emeth.

The first owner of the cemetery was Congregation Shaarei Torah Anshe Chessicl ShelEmes. The cemetery became the property of Temple Emanu-El on April 13, 1934. It retained its identity as the Emanu-El Cemetery following the merger of the two congregations.

The cemetery is located at Struthers-Liberty Road in the City of Campbell. It has a parking lot. There is a pedestrian gate, which is always open.
