A Feminist Lens: The Art & Activism of Photographer Joan Roth

The film focuses on five decades of Joan Roth’s pioneering photography, in which she used her camera to advocate for homeless women in New York City, documented leaders in the U.S. Women’s Movement from the 1970s through today, and illuminated the diverse lives of Jewish women around the world.
Light refreshments will be served. There is no cost to attend, and donations will be gratefully accepted at the door to help us fund future films. This event is not only a film screening! Attendees will be able to enjoy a mini gallery of Joan's work, as well as a live talk back via Zoom with Joan.
