We are kicking off the Community Foundation of Western PA & Eastern OH’s Giving Week!
Now, until June 26, every dollar you donate to the Community Foundation, whether online or by check, is matched! Your gift will help the Federation and Akiva Academy expand K-8 education in the Valley.
Akiva Academy is a K-8 school on a mission to provide stellar education and teach children to live peacefully while creating an inclusive environment where students of all faiths, whether Jewish, Christian, Hindu, Muslim, or those with no religious affiliation, can thrive.
All proceeds will help support the construction of the Altshuler Akiva Academy Goldstone-Mirkin Family Middle School at the Suzi Solomon Campus. With this expansion, we can welcome more students to learn in an environment where highly dedicated and caring teachers uniquely blend secular education with Jewish values to guide the development of each student’s cognitive, creative, and social potential during one of life’s crucial junctures: the early formative years.
