About Us - JMeals
Since 2020, we have provided nearly half a million meals to our community.
JMeals is a partnership between the Jewish Community Center of Youngstown and Jewish Family & Community Services - both agencies of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation.
We want to say a special thanks to Direction Home of Eastern Ohio for awarding us $10,000.00 for Helping Hands funds to assist older adults living in Mahoning County (60+) with various basic needs. This award has helped us change the lives of our community members for the better, and we couldn't be more grateful for this generous award. We're also incredibly thankful for the award the Trumbull County Senior Levy, awarding the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation $281,810 through a two-year contract running from October 2026 through October 2029 to support the coordinated JMeals Program operated by the JCC and JFCS.
