The Jewish Community Relations Council of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation joined Federations and synagogues from across the country to collect winter wear for asylum seekers arriving from South American countries. The JCRC of Greater Phoenix is spearheading this effort to provide necessary winter clothing to those now in cold northern states like Ohio.
“We are excited to have been able to contribute dozens of coats and hats to this important effort,” said Nic Bush, Federation development & community relations manager.
