The Jewish Community Center of Youngstown and Jewish Family & Community Services offered free frozen meals to Youngstown residents with income below 80 percent area median income levels and households affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. They held four giveaways during the months of July and August. Over 140 families and individuals benefited.

Participants received seven frozen meals, and families were able to register each member of their household. This program was made possible through funding from MYCAP and the City of Youngstown CDBG-CV Grant.
