YSU Students Help with Mobile Meals

Youngstown State University students volunteered to help with the most recent mobile meals drive through offered by Jewish Family & Community Services and the Jewish Community Center of Youngstown.

The JCC and JFCS are offering free frozen meals to Youngstown residents with income below 80 percent area median income levels and households affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. To date, they’ve held five giveaways.

Participants received seven frozen meals, and families were able to register each member of their household. This program is made possible through funding from MYCAP and the City of Youngstown CDBG-CV Grant.
