The Youngstown Area Jewish Federation raised over $228,000 during its Giving Tuesday campaign, supported by DeSalvo Construction. DeSalvo Construction partnered with the Federation, first offering to match every donation to the Federation up to $25,000, doubling the impact of community contributions. In the last week of the campaign, after that match was met, DeSalvo Construction offered another $25,000 match, which was also met. “We are all just so amazed and thankful for this opportunity and the generosity that came out from the community to make this happen,” said Courtney Campesi, Federation financial resource development director. Funds raised directly benefit programs and services across the five counties the Federation serves—Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana, Mercer, and Lawrence.
