The Jewish Community Center held its annual Suzi Solomon Golf Classic June 8.
“What a fabulous day of golfing and time spent with so many of our friends supporting the J,” said Denise Wolf, executive director. “And 28 years of support from the Solomon family…thank you!”
This year’s Golf Classic brought together 35 teams and more than 150 sponsors, all united in support of the JCC’s mission. The event raised nearly $100,000 to help provide meals for homebound seniors through the JMeals program, scholarships for families seeking to send their kids to Camp JCC and the Early Learning Center, learn to swim lessons for local students, and countless other programs and services that enrich lives across our community.
Diamond Clubhouse Sponsors were the Suzi Solomon Philanthropic Fund, The Thomases Family Endowment of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation, Simon Roofing, and B&I Management. The 2027 golf classic is scheduled for June 7.
