Hospitality Aide - Full and Part Time

Heritage Manor is looking for individuals to perform non-professional hospitality tasks under the supervision of nursing personnel.  Also, to assist in maintaining a positive physical, social, and psychological environment for the residents.

1. Ability to come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrated dependability and punctuality. 

2. Ability to come to work in a neat, clean uniform and present a professional appearance. 

3. Ability to accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner. 

4. Ability to follow established performance standards and perform duties according to nursing service policies and procedures. 

5. Ability to consistently work cooperatively with residents, coworkers, physicians, and family members. 

6. Ability to follow Resident Right's policies at all times. 

7. · Ability to exhibit behavior in support of and promotion of Resident Right' s. 

8. Ability to observe all facility safety policies and procedures. 

9. Ability to be responsible for the safety of residents under your care. 

10. Ability to observe infection control procedures. 

11. Ability to form a relationship, communicate, and interact competently on a one to one basis with residents. 

12. Ability to collect water pitchers, glasses, and trays from resident's rooms and take to dietary for cleaning.  

13. Ability to refill cleaned water pitchers with fresh ice water and return to the resident's rooms.

14. Ability to make unoccupied beds.

15. Ability to transport food carts to/from the kitchen.

16. Ability to answer call lights.

18. Ability to transport residents to/from the dining room, PT, and activities.

19. Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor. 

 

1. High School Diploma or equivalent

2. Dependability, neatness, accuracy, accountability, and a positive attitude

3. Ability to follow procedures, directions, and communicate with others
